I do Pump Classes Surely That Is Enough Weights?

pump classWhile you may be forgiven for thinking that ‘Pump’ classes can be classified as weight (resistance) training, unfortunately you’d be wrong.

Pump classes consist of using a relatively light weight for a very high number of reps with very short to non-existent rest intervals.

It is because of these factors that we cannot consider Pump classes to be true resistance training or what we here at the studio call F.I.R.E. (Focused Intense Resistance Exercise).

To achieve true figure-sculpting, metabolism-boosting, bone-strengthening and body-tightening results you need to incorporate proper resistance training principles which incorporate heavy weights, a lower number of slow and controlled reps and longer rest periods in between sets and exercises… regardless of your age, gender or current physical condition!
